You're in capable hands.
I believe in lifelong learning, professional growth, and bringing the highest standard of care to every client I work with.
commitment to Growth
I believe in lifelong learning and professional growth, and I make it a priority to connect with other nurse psychotherapists to share knowledge, insight, and support. This is done through both consultation and mentorship from more experienced practitioners.
My career goals include further education in mental health and psychotherapy, as well as achieving the role of Nurse Practitioner.
The education and experience behind our therapy sessions
I am a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and an authorized Registered Nurse Prescriber (certified by the University of Windsor in 2025).
I am also a proud member of the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) , where I am actively involved in the Nurse Psychotherapist Interest Group.
professional Credentials
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Guelph in the Master of Arts in Mental Health program, with program completion in 2027.
Current education
At this time, I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) โa structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns.
As I continue to grow in this field, I plan to expand my education and training to incorporate additional therapeutic modalities to better support the needs of clients in today's society.
therapeutic Approach
My experience in the Emergency Department at a Schedule 1 Mental Health Facility has contributed greatly to my knowledge of mental health conditions and my ability to care for clients experiencing crisis.
Clinical experience
I am recognized by the Government of Ontario as a direct-referral source for their Victim Services Quick Response Program+ , where Victim Services clientele may be eligible to receive funding toward psychotherapy services.
